Momma hen and baby- moved back into hen house.
New Chicks(5weeks) moved into hen house with divider.

New chicks figure out how to get over divider, now mingling with older chicks (have one BR who is being a pain, but nothing major)
Yesterday pouring rain..chicks try to get back in house on thier side, BR decides to block door and not let them in:mad:..they get smart go to other door.
Today- EE's decided to jump momma hen..(somehow momma has hurt her leg) Her baby scoots to chick side of hen house can't figure out how to get back to mom. Listening to its panicked chirp all morning..

SOO...I finally am able to get out about lunch. EE's have momma cornered in the house, baby still on other side..and big hens are having a hay day going in the chicks side. Fix hatch door..now to small for big girls to enter.

Move momma to chick side where other hens can't get her, along with chick. Much happier purring and clucking at baby. Of course now the chicks get in trouble if they come to close.

Big hens mad at me cuz they can't get in now..hehehe.

The one thing I can say in that my Roo was breaking up the fights between the big girls...what a man!

Does it ever stop:) Always Always chicken drama...better then soap operas.

All of my friends that don't have chickens..oh wait that is all of them..lol Think I'm crazy..they can't understand how I can just sit and watch them. I love it. Specially the babies, because now they are all doing the "cock" fighting..to funny watching them strut their stuff trying to look big and bad.

I have made a New Friend at the School District I drive a bus for, because of chickens. She has suggested that we get all our new "Chicken Friends" together for group "therapy". I think it's a great idea for a get together at our towns new coffee house.
