Oh what do I do?

i only dont turn for a day. but that is 2 days or 2.5 from the time I open and let them rest, put them in the bator, and then 1 day I turn it on. I had 2 hatch last year with detached air cells, so you never know. tonight is day 3 with my new shippment, so I will take a quick look at a couple. my other go into lock down on monday, none of the one with the aircell detached made it in that bunch.. there was 1 that I would tell was scrambled. I pulled it wed, along with a blood ring and did an egg-topsy.. sure enough it was.

and I agree, stupid PO! if it wasnt for the eggs being packed very well, I am sure I would have none now, the box was smashed on one side...

good luck! let us know what you see when you candle!... oh and there is a thread for shipped eggs, it is a very helpful resource.. i check it out every once in a while because I am a tad forgetful!

Yes, I started turning mine at 3 days. I figured I had better before something started to stick. I did a quick peek yesterday normally i don't look until day 7 which is today, and the 1 egg I picked up and checked had veining, so I am happy will check the rest tonight before bed time. Lucky for me the eggs are white, so I can see easily with them.

Most of mine are brown or light brown. I know 3 of the eggs are for sure quitters, contents even look scrambled :/ But there are some which are definitely alive.

I checked all of my game eggs last night, and only 3 were not as developed as the rest. However they look like they are thriving just slower then the rest. Only 1 looked like it may not be developing. But will check them all again at day 14 and see how they look. I am happy with this last order of shipped eggs. Can't wait until when they hatch.

Ive got some like that too. ANd one that has a large embrio but it doesn't move like the others, its got a lil black dot in it, does that mean its dead?

I have some non starters and a blood ring, I also have one that has one huge vein going up and down the egg and nothing else. No idea what that is

Some can be slower then others. I had one where I could see a large vein within the first couple of days, However it is now one of the slower ones. So yours still may come. As for the black dot, not really sure someone told me that is an eye, however I have found out if they have a black dot in the middle usually it means the baby quit.

Yeah, I think its a quitter. I'll leave it till day 14 just to see.

That is what I do, I keep most even the quitters until day 14. Then at day 18 anything that is not fully developed or getting there is gone. At day 25 everything left gets a going over and then tossed.
