So I went to the feed store yesterday and bought a couple bantams. One silkie, and one....well...I have no clue!

He/she is totally adorable, and is ALOT smaller then the silkie. He/she is basically all black, except for his/her face. It's a golden yellow shade, and is extremely cute.

(Aren't all chicks?) I usually don't like buying breeds I'm not familiar with, but I've always wanted a cute little bantam and fell in love with this guy/gal!

If more pictures are needed just say so, I wasn't sure how "known" this breed was. If no one knows, I might just have to accept that I have a cute little mutt!

Oh! That is EXACTLY why feed store chicks keep coming home with me! There are SO many of them in need, too... a few here, a few there, over a period of time.

The last two which needed me were luckily in pullet bins, instead of the bantam straight run bins like the previous four. A light brahma and a black jersey giant. Totally needed me.

This is not a hijack attempt; here is one of the feed store babies I brought home yesterday.

Thanks and we now return to the the other feedstore chick.

First lil baby looks just like this one did when we first got him. Sebright. Super tiny. Sadly we no longer have him, as it was a cockeral so we couldn't keep him!

Its definitely an Old English Game Bantam. Looks like a few I've had.. more specifically like the one that turned out to be mottled. You won't really know what color he is until he fully feathers in. At least we couldn't tell! I say he, because it's most definitely a roo!

Thats just my 2 Cents! Hope it steered you in the right directions.
