The white egg is a store bought. The other egg is from my Marans Cross, Lady Sybil. It should be obvious that I don't have small hands, but for reference, my ring finger is a size 10. That's a BIG egg and I feel like I should either give her a heating pad or an ice pack for her bum.

I wouldn't feel too bad for your girl We have an old chicken whose about 5 years of age and lays eggs just like that or bigger everyday!

I almost bought the placemats, but we don't use them. This one is a double yolker, I'm sure, but STILL...yikes! She lays a double yolk egg once or twice a week but this is the biggest one yet.

When they first start laying it isn't unusual for a big egg to get laid. Mother nature has an awful sense of humor.
