IMHO, I agree with rodriguez, it looks cool. And can't be any worse than having a Japanese bantam with extremely short legs or breeds with extremely large crests. Both those characteristics can impair a chicken.
I don't see it as any worse than my Turkens.......just a bit more extreme. I wonder if they feel as soft and sweet all over as my Turkens precious little necks. I could snuggle their little necks all day.
I do think these look ugly, but then I used to think Turkens were ugly, too.
