I just saw your post. I joined a couple of days ago and am from Newark. I live about 5 miles from the bike trail on 668 by Clay Lick. I use to do a lot of deer hunting in Perryton area.

Sure enough, if you talked your wife into pig-raising,
chickens won't be a problem at all.

How did that pigging go?

We had hogs as a boy. Pig riding, pig racing.... yep.
I remember all that. Not all pigs like to be rode, and
they will let you know about it.

Even had a bull once, it lived on the back porch. Rode
him too.

Believe me, chickens are much easier to raise. Don't
know if I can ride one... but a man down the road has
an ostrich I been looking at...

Which is probably why I spend so much time in my
rocking chair these days. I can ride that.
