Oily chicks

Yes. They seem to be getting better and appearing more normal. I have 4 black sex links, 6Rhode Island Reds, 2 barred Plymouth Rocks, and 2 Sicilian Buttercups all in the same (very very large) brooder. There are 2 compartments as they are different sizes and I'm protective, lol.

My black Sex Links that are 5 weeks old appear oily. Is this normal?

That's funny, I have one black Sexlink within all my babies and to me, she smells different. I've had chicks my whole life and I was seriously questioning if this chick was actually a chicken or not. Maybe some other kind of fowl... I may sound crazy but I seriously think she smells odd. She's perfectly healthy... Just thought I'd throw that in. Haha
