Ok.. all this talk about DIY feeder. Wanna see my 3500.00 feeder? OWCH

Lots of sympathy, here, but very little knowledge gained,in five pages of posts.

First off, shame on your husband, for letting you use a die grinder without instructions or proper safety equipment... Mainly, safety glasses.

Let me guess, it was a flexible, carborundem blade, and it came apart, as soon as it became bound up.

Edited: to add. and there was no guard, over the blade..... Sorry, but I am a Safety Nazi. You should see my face.

Good thing God has your back, that could have been way worse.
It looks like the doc did a great job stitching you up, I believe it will
have minimal scaring. Your eyebrow in that area will probably not come back, but hey it looks like it is far enough down on the brow that it will not matter ... less tweezing

I thank God that you didn't lose your eye! Remember, whenever we pick up a power tool or any sharp object (or even a stick) we should all hear out mother's voice in the back of heads saying, "BE CAREFUL OR YOU'RE GONNA LOSE AN EYE!!"
