    My guess would be a hatchery Rhode Island Red, or production red, appears to be a pullet.

    Looks like a cockerel to me, about 12-14 weeks old.

    Forget that question. I see that you don't know the age. Without knowing the age and given the poor condition of its tail feathers, I could go either way on its gender.
