Total bird-count is easily 200 but I'm sure it's more. We also have 9 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, 11 rabbits, 2 horses, and 4 fish

I have 2 cats, 1 Dog, 63 hens and Pullets, 16 Roosters, 33 fuzzy butts, 168 eggs in the incubator, 12 eggs due to arrive on
Thursday to go along with the 39 I have collected and what I collect on Thursday and Friday before loading the Incubator.

Thank goodness I only have 38 chickens according to chicken math.

But mom cant figure out how 38 chickens can eat SOOO much feed.

Whoops almost forgot. I have 140 fuzzy butts due to arrive on the 29th.

Also have joined Mahonri's 2nd Annual BYC EASTER HATCH & GFM Contests!!!!!! So that will be a few dozen more eggs in the bators.

NOPE I DON'T HAVE AN ADDICTION. I CAN QUIT ANYTIME. NOTTTTTTTTTT

Oh my, I was sitting here comfortably and now I know that I am way past reasonable in the number of animals I have in my home. I would say no more for me, but the meat birds are arriving this Saturday. That will mean that the head count goes up by another 15. I am already past 40. It seems so much less, when I just say that I just have dogs, cats, chickens, and fish. I am telling you that if I count this way then I am well in the perfectly normal range. Cause counting this way, I only have kinds of animals. I still want the Yak though.

8 hens,2 dogs,3 cats,1 rabbit,2 meadow voles,and I think 6 frogs. Frogs get released every spring.Voles I am not sure.

I am not counting my 2 bins of red wiggler worms!

I am going to show the Hubs this thread...the next time he makes the comment that we have too many animals....

3 adult hens
5 baby chicks
1 bunny
2 cats
2 beta fish
Would like to have MANY more chickens..working on it!
