Isn't that the coolest thing?? I would sit outside the incubator (all my goose eggs are now hatched!) and peep peep at them and they would answer me back. I would talk to them as well and when they hatched they look for my voice, which is really cool!

Good luck!

Well, overnight "Little Pipper" externally pipped and now there is somewhat of a hole in the shell. Little Pipper's black beak is sticking out! And Pipper is still squeeeeking and has a little snore-honk, too!

Little Pipper is still wet and attached at navel. Tummy is not completely closed around yolk sack but the humidity is high and stable.

Good job, Pipper!

EDIT: Nevermind... the tummy is closed. Got a bad look when Pipper Popped Out... took a closer look. Also, not attached to umbilical cord anymore

Pipper is all fluffed up, eating, drinking and wobbily walking! I will post more pics soon!
The hatch was at 10:15pm so you can imagine how tired I am now....

Pipper had externally pipped yesterday morning and pipped a whole in the shell. There was no "zip" action so that is why I call him/her Pipper.
Pipper stayed like that most of the day yesterday, alternating between resting and straining to push out, and occasionally chatting with me

Finally, sometime after 8pm I heard a LOT of chirping and went in to find Pipper had gotten half way out. I could see up to the wings. Pipper took a rest and then pushed the rest of the way out a little after 10PM.

Pipper was pooping and rocking the other eggs, and scratching up my bator so I had to remove pipper and put pipper in the brooder sometime in the wee hours of the morning. Now Pipper is all fluffed out and learning to walk.
