Ok I am really needing something to do in the late evenings....

Have you been reading the thread on covering eggs with polymer clay? That's my new hobby.

As far as someone to talk to late at night... Well. Do you have a cat?

Mine LOVES to keep me up all night!

I have several cats they live outside as I am alergic to them. I just miss not talking to my daughter she's away on business. I do have games to play I just can't seem to get the interest to play them right now.

Thats why I thought of chatting somewhere. Right now arts and crafts are a bit hard to do cause I simply don't have the room. Plus my hubby keeps coming and cooking and doing odd stuff in here stirring up the dust and all that and I just can't do that if I am painting with acrylic. Also my computer wacom tablet pen is not working and I can't afford another one. So I just have nothing to do right now. I can always I guess just draw another picture but I really wanted to paint one that I am working on. I dream of having my own studio one day...

Can't you give your hubby a time restraint on his dust-kicking-up behaviors? Man, there's nothing quite so irritating as dust getting everywhere. We are in the middle of re-modeling and I've just about had enough of dust and construction debris.

If you are motivated to paint you should do it.

It sounds like you'd like a creative outlet, but maybe something that doesn't take a lot of energy out of you? Do you have a sketchbook or a journal you could mess around in?

I do have that(creative outlet) its not that I don't have it. Its that I am so interrupted that I lose the concept of the image or colour pattern and all that. I don't know if I explain it that well but when they come in for family needs or just being there causes me to drop my art hat and pick up the mom/wife hat... see?? Everything else is gonday... good bye see if I can find it again.

And many times I can't... so I just don't get them out.

PS yes I do feel like it is bottled up inside...

It seems like you either need your own space, or you need everyone to respect your space more and you shouldn't feel guilty about asking for it.

If you only have a small space that you can retreat to (say a bedroom or a bathroom) then it would probably help to have a small book to sketch in. At least you can get your ideas on paper that way.

I saw some of your stuff and it is pretty cool!

Its easy to be too busy, or too distracted to work on artistic endeavors, but it is very important and makes you feel better to get it out.

If your family knows how important it is to you and that you shouldn't be interrupted, chances are they will respect that and your husband might even make building you a studio a priority!

Well hubby quit a job to go work on another job and well he didn't go so hes home with me all the time now. If he would go back to work it would be different. Plus he just comes in when he feels like it even though he lives in his own RV... if you want to call it that... But this trailer is cramped... its only 8x20 ft and thats including sleeping space. So what I really need we can't afford. Which is why I dream of a studio.

My sketch books are full and I need a work shop too... its so complicated...

*sighs*

One day...

PS I still need something to do at night...

Sorry, that sounds complicated.

I could personally spend HOURS just surfing the internet for miscellaneous things that interest me, but I don't know what your interests are per se. There are so many forums on the internet, I'm sure you could find one that interests you where people are awake and actively chatting.

Besides the obvious: crafts, reading, or home-related projects, I'm not sure I can be of much help either.
