Oh, yes. Forgot to explain that.

I have several EE girls that have slate legs. One of them is an Araucana cross.

Your black boy seems to have come from aruacana genes, but he isnt pure....or he is very low quality, and come from parents who were bred out of the standard. (His legs, again.)

so my black one is tuftless, so far that is the only thing that is said not be pure, if araucana can be tuftless, does that mean he is pure.

No. Having tufts or not is not the only thing that makes an araucana an araucana.....

A show quality bird will have slate lets, be rumpless, tufted, have the correct body shape, ect....

Breeder birds are either taild/tufted or rumpless/clean faced.

Yes there are pure tuftless, not all are born with tufts and some are born with only one, and some are born double tufted...You have to have both tufted and tuftless to breed them.

Roo #1 looks Araucana to me with no tufts(not show quality)
Roo #2 EE And a beautiful one at that
Roo #3 EE and has partial single comb
Roo #4 Looks Araucana to me... Did 1 & 4 come from the same breeder?
Roo #5 EE
Roo #6 EE
Baby #7 More likely an EE

I don't claim to be an expert on them...I just love the Araucana, Ameraucana, and EE breeds and have studied them deeply(everything I can find on them) for pretty much a year now. They are just all 3 striking breeds to me.
