Last night, DH and I were settling in. He went to bed and was laying watching TV. I brought in his favorite baby a Silkie named Dolly. SO he lays with Dolly on his chest and his hands cuddling her. I go and get my Fav baby Robin and there we are sitting in bed, with our babies sleeping on our chests. I looked at him and said "YUP they're just livestock huh?".

I also find just about every conversation leading back to the babies in the brooder! LOL!
YIKES I'm hooked. I don't think I'll ever be "normal" again!!!!

Do they have a chick addiction rehabilitation center?

"normal" is soooo overrated! Way to boring for me!

LOL... DH and I have been in love with our chicks! I guess we'll just have to adjust to being weirdos in the neighborhood!

I've never been one to conform!

Don't fight your chicken addiction. Accept it and get more chicks come on, every one on this forum is doing it, you know you want to!!!

Now this is Peer Pressure you can give into! LOL

Dear Husband

My DBF has been so busy at work that the coop building has become a drawn out project and I still have my 5 week old babies in the house in a baby pool. The coop should be done this weekend, but I'm not sure I'm ready for them to go outside.

I love their constant jabbering and increasingly mischievous behaviour. The only thing that makes the thought bearable is the notion that I've got to give these the boot to brood more!

I think one might end up being a house chicken. DBF is not sold on that idea, however. I can just imagine him coming to bed only to find a chicken in his spot.
