Ok so I did win an auction for chicks, but I never claimed to be sane anyhow. At my age, I should care? You have to strike while the iron is hot! Of course the iron doesn't have to be hot to strike with it.

Seriously there were others to buy but I passed. Gotta practice self control.


Spring will be here before you know, just not soon enough for me.

I'm always obsessing about getting new birds. As of right now I want blue cochins really bad and a malay rooster (who wouldn't want a chicken that's over three feet tall?)
The coop building craze? I get that too. Even just built a new one and I still want to build more.

Part of the fun is planning and dreaming/scheming about new birds. I have no bator or else I'd be in some deep trouble!
