Puppy diapers! Brilliant!!!!
Why didn't I think of that!?!
Well, anyway, when we got our first goats (NDs) we were going to let them ride in a tall box between/behind the front seats of our mini van. That did not work. Within minutes the box was a mess, no longer good enough for the babies. Hazel who was 5 days old at the time could almost jump out anyway wich made one day old Maggie nurvise. To provide Maggie with some piece I took her from the box and seconds later Hazel jumped all the from the box into my lap. Once there, they both, slept and accationally stood and lay back down agian the whole hour and a half drive. It was so wonderful.
On the other hand, when Rosie, our pygmy, delivered Miss Madge in the back of my dads utility van, Miss Madge wanted to learn to walk and play in the first 20 min. of life.
I think what I am tring to say is they are all different. Crates are very good but it is next to impossible for me and many others to ride in a vehicle with goats between the ages of one day and three weeks and not hold them. So if the STRONG urge inside comes from someone capable of the job, that is okay too
. Crates are very good for almost any mini.
Just curious, how old are they and how tame? When might you be getting them? Be sure they are healthy. Oh ya'll must be so So SO Excited!!!
