Ok, Let's talk basic chicken genetics - What I know lesson#1

birder, I'm not a complete beginner but what I do know has come hard. I would love to have someone (you would be great) that would put the color genetics in a kindergarten fashion. It would help to clarify things and fill in the holes of my understanding.

If you can't afford, or find, Sigi's book, I would definitely also recommend Brian Reeder's website and book - both are excellent resources (link below). I have both, as well as Grant Brereton's book. They all compliment each other very nicely.

There are also EXCELLENT poultry genetics experts here on BYC to help you. I would name a few but I don't want to offend anyone by leaving them out. One or two have already found and posted on this thread!
