ok my peeps! DUCK girl or boy?

I have had this sweetie since he hatched-was supposed to be a chicken and I loved this surprise-"Chuckie" is very vocal-loves to snuggle and is a huge crested magpie--what do you think? boy or girl--Everything inside of me tells me he is a boy! tell me what you think please!!!

I so wanted a girl so I can at least re-coop how much I spend on this bugger with "her" eggs to eat and cook with!! I have never had a duck before and this one has stolen my heart and has a home till he passes--He is the only one Ill get though--tooo messy!!!

Looks male to me - tail feather is just starting to curl.

How does the duck talk to you? Loud quacky or quiet raspy?

Well I have hens that have tails like that. I always tell by voice. She said the duck is very vocal what makes me think its a female.

a boy? ok darn it all!!!! Ill hold out a few more weeks and hope those feathers do not curl---if it is by some slim chance a girl when would I expect an egg at the very latest???
