Vent gleet means this:

I agree that vent gleet caused by a fungal infection would be rare in a young bird, but vent gleet caused by bacterial infection and/or coccidiosis is not. Keep in mind that it's possible for a bird to have coccidiosis *and* a bacterial infection at the same time.

I suspect your chick has a bacterial infection, not a yeast infection. What antibiotics do you have?

I now have these meds... Corid, VetRX, Poultri nutri drench, vetricin eye wash and termicyn eye ointment.... I can pick something up I just don't know what to get... :( I feel like a bad chicken mom. I am so new to this and these guys have been giving me a hard time ever since i got this one. I think the ladie i got her from had them in bad conditions I am KICKING myself for buying the chick she didn't get quarantined from my other 2 new babies and now i might have gotten them all sick and I will be so so so sad if i have to cull. Made some stupid mistakes i wont make again but DANG IT!

If it is hot they may be drinking too much water here is a poop chart i find helpful when I see something hinky.

make sure they have shade a place to cool off plenty of water with electrolytes and if it is hot stop the ACV for now you can pick up a pro biotic to add to the water at the feed store.

Good luck
That poop chart has quite a few poops labeled as normal that are NOT normal!

I have the liquid. I have a food scale! (Thank you soap making!)

Should I get an antibiotic? that is not corid?

Also I don't want to spend a bunch on a vet.... when do I decide to cull vs treating. or vet? If i need to cull do I cull all 3 that are in the same brooder. I really don't want to cull my Ameraucana or my Isbar but i cant make my older hens sick!

Get a baseline weight in grams and I'll figure out an oral drench (Corid) that you can give them. How many have the purple bellies?

Uh.... I think just the one but the other two are very feathers on their tummies

.... Asking my husband to weigh them now!
