Ok need help, what's yopur best guess

I would like any info on what breed of chicken this is. It's black with an iridescent green shimmer. It also has black feet.

Without looking I'm betting on Black Australorp, I've got two white jersey giants and this little guy isn't half the size of them at 8 weeks old.

Australorp, or Jersey Giant. I have both! Is the chicken mild towards humans? My Jersey Giant doesn't mind being picked up, but my Australorps do. Good Luck!

I agree that it's probably a roo. I have two of these and this ones comb is definitely more developed and redder, that said at this age it really is just a guess.

It's not even fully feathered, and yet the comb is big and red, and wattles are also there.
