Ok... Now turkeys....lol

I have had fun hatching chickens... now I'm trying my luck with Turkey eggs. I just put in 7 turkey eggs into my homemade bator. 6 are Royal Palm turkeys and one is a giant white. Ok.. I really wanted a turkey or 2 for thanksgiving....lol... But I figured that I could try hatching them myself.
Which brings me to my next question..or first if your keeping track....lol Can you eat turkey eggs like you do chicken eggs? and do they taste the same?? I'd be interested to find out.

You can eat turkey eggs like chicken eggs. I've been told that they are richer that chicken eggs and they are really good in cakes and stuff like that.
I have a trio of royal palms and a trio of burbon reds.

I plan to put some turkey eggs in soon as well. I've never had turkeys before. I have 16 poults coming from Murray McMurrays in mid march but I'd like to get some eggs from a breeder with v. good stock.
