OK, I posted before with symptoms and now here are the pics. When I first saw these turkeys the bumps were just bumps and now they have scabbed over so I would say this is Avian Pox. I don't do turkeys. These are some friends of ours birds. When our one chicken girl got pox they weren't all raised up like these are.

These started out as large raised bumps with some of them being a 1/4 inch diameter and 1/4 inch tall. That was a couple of days ago. Now you can see what they look like. This is down right UGLY! So at first I wasn't sure what was going on. I suspected pox. Now I just ask for confirmation.
Thank you
Eric

My understanding is that once they have it and it runs its course, they won't get it again. We adopted an adult hen last year that turned out to have the dry pox. We kept her separate for about a month, but vaccinated all our other birds. The dry pox does not seem to be too damaging, just some bumps that crust over and eventually go away. From what i have read, the wet pox can be deadly as the sores develop in the mouth and throat and can choke a bird.
