Ok so it got the best of me

I fired the incubator back up AGAIN ,, ok ,, so I said it would be late October but 22 days of down time was all I could take .
have 9 silkie and 12 RIR and 12 bantom eggs started 8/31 , not a full load but somthing to watch .

Hey ga_goat, love your name btw, we have milk goats and love them.... So, what's the next hatch going to be.....may I tempt you with lovely blue, black, splash orpingtons, lavendar orpingtons, speckled sussex, delawares, brs, heritage rir, a few ducks, black copper marans???? Let me know....He he, why take a break from hatching, You are in the South.....It can be a year round hobby, we started with only about 20...... And now, well, I cannot count that high any more............Hurray for a fellow hatcher!!!!!!!

No kidding. I had to use the generator in my hubbys welder last week for the incubator when we lost power. What's a few chicks in house

The bathtub makes a great brooder. Easy to clean and the heat lamp clamps to the side.

You people are not helping me. DH doesn't mind chicks in the house, for about 3 weeks. Then he's like, put them out. I really want to hatch some dark BC Marans eggs and some porcelain d' anvers. But I WILL wait until March. Maybe...
