ICICLE ?? I looked out the window today and saw this. Its a 3 footer!

Wow! I don't have pictures but we had some that were that big hanging off of our grain elevators. It is usually pretty quiet out here, just me and the chickens! So I about had a heart attack when I was walking over to the barn and the ice fell off the elavator! Made a horrendous crash!!

We've had bigger ones too, I got hit in the shoulder a week ago by one right outside my front door, opened the door, not realizing it was even there. Thank God it was not my head!

I do it all the time too. The gutter over my front door has a seam that leaks so there are always icicles. So now, I open the door slowly and knock it out of the way before I stick my head out.
