Have searched all over the place for some Ameraucanas not Easter Eggers! Where can I get some Ameraucanas? The kids and wife are killing me about those "beautiful blue eggs".... I think I have done all the searches.... any help? Thanks in advance for any help!

I would check on the BYC auction pages or look for people here http://www.ameraucana.org/. Anywhere else you need to be careful or you will likely get easter eggers.

Meyer sells Ameraucanas (as well as EEs) but they have been sold out for awhile. I agree with Makomd, your best bet is to find a breeder. However, my Easter Eggers from Ideal have so far all laid blue eggs so if it is the egg color and not the breed you really want, that might be the way to go.

Thanks guys! Yes I have checked them all out. I want to stay true to the breed, until I find some close to home I will probley get some EE for the kids from a hatchery. Just got some new checks from Mt. H last week 36 all doing very well... growing fast. I have tried to contact some breeders on the ABC list with no answers, will keep looking Thanks again all.

You can try contacting BJ's Poultry Farm. They have Lavender Ameraucanas. I'm pretty sure they're a member here...I don't remember for sure 'cause I contacted so many breeders I can't keep track. I'm not sure of their username though.

I was gonna order chicks from them, but then I had an issue come up. The issue was resolved, but I'm having to drop more money on having water damage fixed from my hot water heater leaking on me than I had originally thought (there was a lot more damage done than we thought there was...ugh, it's been one thing after another lately), so I'm having to order from a hatchery. If possible, I may order from them later. I'm letting you know this to let you know I trust them enough to order from them.

Their website is bjspoultry.weebly.com. I've spoken with the owner, Bryan, through emails and he seems like a very nice guy. Put it this way, he was willing to do me a favor I've not had other breeders offer...he just offered it all on his own, I didn't even have to ask.

He told me he'll be hatching for the rest of the year. It says on the site that, as of yesterday, they have Lavender Ameraucana available that hatched Jan. 30th.

Are you looking for eggs or day old chicks. I bred lav ameraucanas. I will only ship eggs. I dont ship live birds. If interested in eggs contact me. Right now my birds aren't laying yet but am hoping to have eggs available in a month or so.
