OK...Tetra Tint question....

The one with the black spot may be an EE cross... Or Easter Egger. My TTs are solid yellow. I forget what they are a cross with, but I thought it was White Leghorn and Delaware. Maybe that's why the black spot?

They do look like their feathering in pure white. They may be like Amberlinks though, or at least the one I had was like this.. She feathered in all white, and then after a few weeks she started to get her amber speckles.

Mine is coming in white on the wings and back with a small black spot on her back. Then on her chest and neck it is very light beige in color. Hard to tell from this pic, but she is turning out to be a very pretty chick! This is her at 2 weeks.

Great pictures! I've been trying to identify four chicks from a bin at TSC labeled "Pullets", and after seeing these pics I'm almost positive they are Tetra Tints! Three of them are yellow and one has a bit of gray under her wing, and many in the bin had gray on them. I really want to see adult Tetra Tint photos, too!

I have to say that my tetra tint chick is the bravest of the group. Friday I put my 4 & 2 week old chicks out in the coop (it has heat) they were just getting to big for the brooder. I go out to check on them and my tetra tint chick "Tetra" takes a flying leap and right up to the highest perch in the coop, she really wanted to look out the window! She is also one of the few that comes right up to me when I open the coop door, along with my barred rock Willow and my big blue cochin roo Krull. I have a feeling she is going to be a very nice bird!! I will have to get more pics of her, she is really feathering out beautiful. She has more black spots going down her back and the beige is starting to stand out against the white.

I have 6 Tetra Tints from TS also. I also have 3 random red pullets and one Plymouth Rock that I had to have because it looked completely different from the others. The TT are SO sweet! They loved to be held. The other 4 are in their own little clan and seem to not want ANYTHING to do with me! The TT we're hatched on March 2nd and the others were hatched on the 8th. Here's a pic of the first day we got them and today.

Now here is my Tetra tint at three weeks now. She is very energetic! I opened the coop door to check on them all at lunch time, she leaped from the coop and proceeded to run through the yard, the woods, around front to our shed, back into the backyard and she flew, yes flew to the back door! I had quite a workout after lunch

Hopefully my hubby gets the run on so we don't have this little adventure again!! Well here is Tetra!

She is still looking a little off white in color on her body, but her wings are white. Just not the greatest pic, it was taken after her adventure!
