OK to change from hand turning to automatic turner?

Hi,
I have eggs in the incubater that I have been hand turning,(on thier side).
Is there any reason I cannot change them to an automatic turner.
They have been in for 1 week
I read somewhere not to but did not make sense to me.

go ahead, just be careful when you transfer them, try not to juggle them, and when you have them out of the 'bator place them in a warmed towel, just in case it takes you a bit longer to set up the turner than you think.

I'm sorry this seems obvious but be sure to put the pointy end of the egg down.

Wash your hands well before moving them and be sure your turner is sanitized as well....warm towel, ditto and warm room too!!! Best of luck, Nancy

Keep an eye on the temperature too. The turner motor will probably raise the temperature up a degree or two.
