Thanks for the reassurance, everyone! This evening when we took the ladies out to play, we didn't try to limit their wanderings, and we all had much more fun! (I was always worried someone would fall off a lap and get hurt - - - the kids were thrilled to find that the chicks didn't want to get off of them!)

How cute. Daughter and I have been doing the same thing for about 30 mins at a time, twice a day for the past three days. The chicks love it.

It is still cold here so I keep them confined to the bathroom which is draft free and pretty much baby safe
