First timer! Our baby girls are 2 weeks old and are doing great!

Would you move them to the coop without a heat source?

They have all their wing and back feathers. We’re in Arkansas where it’s in the high 80s-90s during the day and mid-60s-70s at night. We stopped using the heat lamp in the brooder about 3 days ago.

We’ve been taking them outside for several hours a day to get them used to it and they seem to love it.

We have 9 Speckled Sussex and 9 Silver Laced Wyandottes.

PS - I love this site! It’s been super helpful to look through everything!!

Hi there! That is super exciting. When you take them outside, what do you put them in?
