I have a broody bantam hen that I want to set with larger eggs from my standard-sized hens. But I also need to treat them with Wazine-17 for a suspected roundworm outbreak. I'd like to keep all the un-Wazine-d eggs for human consumption for this next 4 days, and would like to use some of the ones laid during the quarantine period to be used for setting instead.

Does anyone know why this would/would not be a good idea?

The rest of the eggs laid during the quarantine period will be ground in the blender, shells & all, cooked together & fed back to the chickens. Can't let those gems go to waste!
