Ok!! So my two 5wk old BRs I think are old enough to get some insight now. At first I thought one of each, but now I’m wondering if I have 2 pullets, and one is just further behind the other. I’m pretty sure at least one is a girl. They supposedly both hatched the same day, 4/25. I have read Roos develop tail feathers a tad slower, have more/thicker white, but combs turn red and wattle forms earlier. One is definitely lighter/whiter than the other- one has a black fluffy butt and the other’s is white/light gray! BUT, neither seem to have a wattle yet, nor any color change in their combs, and the one I’m fairly certain is female is WAY bigger than the other. So, not sure if different sexes or just different stages of development. Thoughts???

Bird #1, pretty sure pullet:
