Ok, two questions, this one first..

I have a chick that looks like it will make it, but it is pretty floppy since I had to help it out.

How soon can I give it electrolytes? This should help right? Haven't tried it before..have heard that it is good for new chicks regardless of whether they are weak or not?

I don't know about electrolytes...that sounds like a good idea...but when I had to help one out and it was weak like you described, I was advised to give yogurt. so i watered some down so it could drink it, and it really did perk up after that. i named him "lucky" because he almost died 3 times, 3 different ways...
