Ok very last batch of chicks hatched this summer....need help sexing....4 and half weeks old

The soft lump you are referring to is probably the crop, which is part of a chicken's digestive system.

The "big, soft lump" is its crop. Looks totally normal to me. I'd say it's a pullet, but you'll know in a few weeks for certain.

Unless they are a breed that can be feather sexed (and I do not know about those), you will have to wait a few more weeks to be sure.
