OK why wont my gif avatar move?

Correct. It makes all the avatars disappear. Which might not be what all gif haters are looking for, sadly.

I didn't know that either, and I'm glad I'm not the only one that finds the moving annoying. (No offense OP). I remember a few weeks back eenie had this sparkly pink stars one that darn near put me into an epileptic fit!

She has very graciously since changed it to a nice non-gif one thank God.

Hmmm...... sounds like your discombobulator unit is cracked around the thingamajigger control. Try hitting your monitor on the side. If that doesn't work, better call a repairman!
