Okay, few more questions....

You can purchase hygrometers or thermometer/hygrometer combos at most places that sell thermometers. Pet stores often have the hygrometers in the reptile section as well. Yes, a sponge, or a couple sponges I think are the best, an extra cloth with sometimes help as well. Did you get it to come up?

But that doesn't work either...is the hot water I put in the incubator supposed to stay hot all throughout?

It will be day 19 in a few hours, yet I had to takethe eggs out and try to adjust the humidity, but nothing seems to work

Ok so what I did now, I put some eggs in cartons, and some are still laying, I added 3 hot wash cloths and taped the sides of the incubator... I added a Lil bit more hot water with the funnel type bottle through the hole and managed to get it to 61, now while I was sitting, I heard some pecking sounds, I wonder if taking them out just a fee minutes ago wasn't a good idea or not, but I heard it pecking, I can't see a pipost though, will it be ok, as it is lockdown now and it's humidity is at 61

It could be the hygrometer being wacky too. Just keep your wells filled, a couple extra sponges or cloths wet in the bator, close it up and you should be good. With that much surface area, there's got to be a good amount of humidity in there.

They should be fine. They are probably trying to pip through. Hopefully you'll see some pips soon!!

I don't remember where I read it... but the hot water is supposed to be 99.5-102 degrees ( depending on how warm that you are keeping it in the bator) ... So I heat up water in a pot and bring it to that temp before adding.. I don't know if that will aid to the humidity issue.. but thought that I'd offer that bit of advice.

pip sounds at day 19 sounds promising!

Thanks, any piece of advice is very helpful at this point... Im pretty sure it was a pip in there... Not for sure though, i will try staying away from the incubator to see fine results later on
