Awesome...can I ask a question...what are the lines drawn around them???
HELP! Day 24 and no signs of anything. I thought I heard peeping on day 22 but may have been wishful thinking. Should I candle or do the float test? I need them to hatch because it's for a science project and I'm super upset and nervous for them! What should I do! They were shipped eggs and I have them in still air incubators around 100 degrees. For the first 18 days I turned three times a day with 40-50 humidity then stoped on day 18. On day 18 I also raised humidity 65-75 percent.
You can candle or do the float test, if you do the float test just make sure that you are looking for wiggling eggs. Just because it floats does not mean it's still viable. There's not a whole lot you can do. Shipped eggs are chancy to begin with. Still air should be about 101.5F I prefer a little less humidity the first 17 days.

luckily I've hadone one chick come out of its egg at 1 pm today, but other eggs are not piping except for probably 2, what am I supposed to do with the chick, it's quite lonely in there, does it need to drink or eat anything

It's a personal preference. A chick can stay in the bator for up to three days w/o food/water because of the yolk it has absorbed. The chick being in the bator will motivate the others by it's chirping and moveing. I don't usually leave my chicks in the bator for extended periods of time. He's going to be lonely in or out. So it all depends with what you are comfortable with. Just don't be surprised if you take him out if he is loud and chirppy because he is lonely.
