Okay, Grammarians....This is she? This is her?

Let's not turn this into *yet another* grammar vs. "Who cares?" thread. The Staff has had to lock/clean up enough of those.

The OP asked a question, and it was answered really well by WoW. If the subject matter addressed in the original question is not important to you, don't post.

Edited for flaming I answered the question, but the subject is more important to an English teacher like you than it is to the general population. People should not be belittled on here, in class, or anywhere else if they choose not to give a rat's tail about any of it.

I'm not making a value judgment for you, Joe. My job here is to prevent flaming and fighting. My RL position as an English teacher has nothing to do with this.

You can start your own "anti-grammar" thread in Random Ramblings if you so choose, but please don't derail other people's threads about grammar questions by pointing out their limitations or calling what they consider important "malarky." Other people will want to respond to you, and unfortunately, the track record of these grammar and spelling threads in the past has been such that, if someone posts a negative comment having nothing to do with the original post other than to criticize, a flamewar erupts. It's an unfortunate situation, but apparently this is somewhat of a hot topic on BYC and has been so for awhile.

If you have any additional questions or comments about moderation, you can send me or any other Staff member a PM. Thanks!
