Okay is this one a hen or rooster?

I just can't tell with this one. I don't think I see any saddle feathers, so I am thinking hen. The color and fluffy type feathers have me thrown off though

What breed is it? Looks like a cockerel to me, too - tail feathers are long. I have lavender Ameraucanas, and it is taking FOREVER to be sure of their sex!

it's very distracting to have a fence or wire in front of birds, dissects them into pieces, instead of a nice flow of body. Age would help also. I'll go with the others and say cockerel
