Now for a bit of speculation about my little "rumpless/tufted bantam araucana pullet" who is obviously an Ameraucana/EE and I'm pretty sure a cockerel. (This bird is NOT from the same source as my true araucanas!)
Despite him not being an araucana and not a pullet, I got him anyway because he's got such a cute face. I know, I'm a sucker.
He makes the oddest sound I've ever heard from a chicken. Like a pterodactyl or some other dinosaur. Which makes me think Ameraucana rather than mixed breed EE, but whatever.

What I'm most interested in right now is -- does he fit into some official color description, or is he an "any other variety"? Just curious!
