I have been laughing so hard at these chicks...I got them this morning around 6 and the ones I have are doing just fine so far. (Lost a couple in shipping) I was poking around and saw where for the first few days it's a good idea to put marbles in their water. Oops! So I found a few leftover from my grandson, cleaned them up, and put them in the waterer....but I dropped one! Immediately some of the chicks ran over to investigate and started playing with it! They chase it around for awhile, go get a drink and a snack, take a quick nap, and then they're back at it. They seem to be having so much fun, and the silly little girl side of me thinks it's hilarious, but now I'm wondering if I'm teaching them bad habits. I don't want them to start chasing and pecking at each others toes and such. So the marble is out until I find out if I'm creating juvenile delinquents.
