Okay, that's it I'm devastated, new chick is deformed

It sounds like your chick has a lot of problems. I am like you and want to give my chicks the best life I can. But let me tell you a little story. I’m not good with words so I hope you understand what I’m saying. I made the mistake of letting a chick live with a bad leg. Now because of the one bad leg the other one is bad. It has a hard time walking and it never leaves the barn. It's 12 weeks old. As much as I hate, hate, hate putting an animal down I think I will need to do it. My son has become attached to it and now it's harder then if I would have done it when it was younger. I hope you understand what I am saying and I don't want to sound mean. I'm thinking of the animal and what life it will have. It's all I can do to write this. I 'm crying so hard because I know what I need to do today. God Bless you in your decision.
