This chicken is the oddball in my flock of 7, all supposedly hatched at the same time from Mt Healthy Hatchery. Her rear end is a mystery, and she is 8 weeks old. The second pic is a good representative of the size and feathering of the other 6 (all different breeds) The brhama in the background has way more tail feathers than this shot gives her credit for! Thankseverybody!

It looks like a golden laced something or other. lol What kind of comb does it have??

She kind of looks like a Golden Spangled Hamburg, we have some at the farm my horse is at. When they breed together sometimes the chicks come out way more black than they usually are. We have some that come out laced looking.
But yes, a comb type would be helpfull

No matter how much I enlarge the pic I can hardly see the comb but it looks like a Wyandotte comb to me
