It is very quick. As for the rest...as someone else said... child PLEASE!
What part of drowning is quick? The several minutes of struggling to get air before losing consciousness? Or the several minutes after that before the brain stops functioning and the heart stops beating from the lack of oxygen? The definition of quick is fast, or instantaneous, such as with a bullet to the brain.
The part where you chewed their head off while still alive by pulling it through the wire. Oh wait...
Seriously though, death is death. As someone who watched both my father and my mother expire from illness 30 years apart, there just aren't any pretty, painless, and dignified deaths. For that, better check the Disney Channel. I don't enjoy killing any live creature, but it must be done sometimes. To object because they might experience panic or some other uncomfortable feeling is naive. Go with what you are comfortable with, but please don't object to another person's opinion unless you are prepared to have the same.
