Welcome. I live in Michigan but hang out in Owasso with my daughter frequently. I have both of the breeds that you are considering. You can't go wrong with either one; try one (or more) of each. Who can resist all of those tiny peepers.

Hi, I am a newbie to and an Okie! I have been a chicken owner a couple of week now. We have an Easter Egger. She lays 5-6 eggs a week and is a sweet heart. We have a Dark Cornish that lays 7 eggs a week.

We got some chicks yesterday. The older ones are Barred Rock. I read that they are tame and good layers, then we got some younger Easter Eggers.

You should check out the breed pages too. I wanted mine too look different and fun!
