I am a building a MissPrissy bator and want to know which way does eggs turn end to end or around or tilt side to side?:|

Most turners tilt the egg from side to side with the tip of the egg down.

If you turn by hand then you are just rolling the egg to turn.

Many use the egg carton method too which is a manual version of the autoturner.

Nice job doing your homework and finding this old thread.

For a homemade water wriggler, put some water about half full in a small ziploc bag. Close it, and then put that bag into another with no water (just in case of leaks). Then fold bag in half with probe in the middle. I rubber banded mine loosely to keep the probe well incased in the middle.

K! I"ll look all over the place for them, walt- mart, dollar store, and nothing. I"ll keep looking:/ the ziploc bag is good idea, but do these water wiglers, have a hole on the midle so you can put the probe on it ? and what are these things are? really squezze toys or something I like the e-bay Idea too....

They are just a toy.

The thing about them is the give you an idea of what your egg temp is. Then you can
analyze your bator and figure out what all the temps mean.

For example: My egg and wigler temp is 99 when my upper air temp is 101 and my egg
level temp is 100.2

I got it! the water wigler, the bator is up and running and now my air temp is 100 and the ligth goes off , the temp in the wigler is about 99.8 but when ligth turns off the temp in the wigler drops to about 93...???? I turn the pc fan off and still is doing the same why???
