Hello, How's life in your neck of the woods? I have been trying to figure out which roosters to keep. Too many young ones but they are so pretty I want to keep them all.

hello idabel, i know what you mean monty, i just had to give away the baron and his little flock of cochins. i was really bummed.

we had to because now we're on "the list" so our welsummers are to be seperate from the others. we kinda cheated though and kept 2 of our white ones. all this to say, this morning my little white roo crowed for the first time and his little white hen started to cluck

we will sepaerate them later, when we finally finish the new coop, but giving the others away was worth it just to here the young ones step up.
