***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Teach left just a bit ago with a load of roosters. We got some parlor rollers from him. Looking forward to eggs from Carla(again) and Don-chickensandmore and cochin chicks from cjarvis. Teach's boys are super boys. I think my daughter thought they were cute. lol

Tara the leg bands are not needed if there is an addition made to an NPIP flock. On the form just write "addition to exixting flock" That is how we were told to do it years ago.

thanks Matt, trying to get the drawing finalized- can't wait to see the little hen!

Ronnie- this is my first time having a broody and it really surprised me to hear a chirp from an egg!

Hi all, I talked to Pepper today and he's talked to Cityclucks who's going to try to get me a Naked neck or a Frizzle Hen. She asked if she only got one which one I preferred most. I think more people wanted naked necks so I'd be most happy to get a frizzle if someone wants to let cityclucks know. I can always get a NN some other time down the road. I don't believe our town by-laws allow roosters so that's why it has to be a hen.
Pepper says my 9x9 coop will comfortably hold about 18 chickens so my frizzle if I get it will make 19. LOL But I have plans to expand some hopefully. Expansion of the coop area is very important to a chicken addict.
