Thanks, guys. He's one that grew on me. I never could get a hold of him until about 3 months ago when I cornered him in a shed. I always swore if I could ever catch him he'd go straight to CraigsList, but we all know what a sap I am

He was so soft and so pretty....dang it. So I cleaned him up and wormed him and confined him and got some good food in him, he'd been here for years and we always threw food out to him and the other 2 with him. I did clip his wings, he's in the yard with the Cochin bantam girls next to the house now and has no desire to leave that one yard lol
The neighbors had bought a group of them from someone around here years ago and just turned them loose in their yard to fend for themselves so I don't know what kind he is. Buckguy, he's about 3 lbs so bantam I guess. Then when they moved they just LEFT all the chickens behind, just left them

So my husband lured them over here gradually with food, been here ever since.

Oh my gosh - yes he'd make me nervous, but he is gorgeous! as long as the girls are in a covered run you should be ok?

I do not have covered runs.

She lives in a 10x10 pen with the Dark Cornish I love so much and the sweet Faverolles hen. Really nice little group.
