the boys just started a fart war...

gotta go eat some beans

ya'll pray for the wife...she is so lucky to have a house full of testosterone!

Okla, I need you to give my husband some lessons. He's slacking way off compared to you.
Nana, I wonder what was wrong with your hens. It's bad enough to lose them but to not know why would make it worse.
Here's the 2 Russian Orloffs I got yesterday. I didn't exactly want to spend Christmas night bathing & dipping chickens.......but I've done worse on holidays. I really like these guys, can't wait to get to know them better. Then my little Serama had a busy day and fell asleep on my knee again, he's got his head turned around and tucked in. Poor guy. People just run him ragged around here.
Congrats on your egg, MJ!!

No chicken related or chicken themed gifts this year, but got lots of cool other things.

My daughter got me a BYC coffee mug and bumper sticker.

Those hens look good. Do they both have yellow legs? They should be laying soon, if they aren't already. Do they feel good in hand or are they thin through the breast and back?

Yea, they feel good as far as I can tell , their legs are nice and yellow-that means they'll start laying soon? Interesting. 1 of them has rattled breathing so I started her on Tylan 50 injections. I *really* like them a lot. I feel like I've gotten so lucky lately with birds I've gotten.

Cool another bearded breed.

I know! That's what 1st attracted me to them awhile back. I just may have to get some of those little beared bantams that Nana has, too.

Surely there is a warranty on the tire.
We have had that happen with new tires also. Seems they aren't made like they once were.

I was told that no tires that are "made in America" anymore. All come from overseas now.
