***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Did anyone see what those crested ducks brought last night. Talk w the guy for a while, told him about BYC. His 5 yr old girl raised the ducks for 4h. She kept her favorites & brought those to sell. Hope they did well for her. I know my dd is always excited to walk away w money from birds she raises.

As for auctions there is the Blanchard auction every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month (there is one next Saturday), it starts at 5 pm, Newcastle auction is every 1st and 3rd Saturday and starts at 6 pm. Maud has an auction every Thursday. They start selling junk @5 pm then goats and after that chickens. It can go pretty late. There is an auction in Purcell every Saturday @ noon but they mostly sell livestock and stuff but sometimes people bring birds to sell. Trying to think if I forgot any in the OKC area.

So tell us about what kind of chickens you want or if need be we can tell you what kinds of chickens you may want. All of us are quite willing to help enable any and everyone in acquiring birds.

Joe, will the Birchens be Silver Birchen or Black Birchen? I'll go look up what Silver Blue pullet look like. Either way if those are the 2 colors I'll get that's just the colors I want, thanks!

Joe, will the Birchens be Silver Birchen or Black Birchen? I'll go look up what Silver Blue pullet look like. Either way if those are the 2 colors I'll get that's just the colors I want, thanks!

Silver blue is simply the blue version of birchen. Breeding birchen to silver blue you will get some of each.
